Unique amongst the hostels in florence, youth hostel firenze 2000 is only a few minutes from the historic areas of san frediano and santo spirito and can easily be reached from the train station, santa maria novella (approx. 15 minutes on foot without luggage).
All our rooms are private, provided with private bathroom, shower and ac (not included in the rate: read after).
It's not possible to book 'the bed', we don't have dorms or rooms to share.
At yhf2000 there is no curfew but you must check-in by 7:30pm.
The tourism tax rate is euro _1,00_ per person per night
Before you book a room please note:
You must check in by 19:30 (7:30pm)
1) check-in from 2pm to 7:30pm.
Reception is closed from 7:30pm to 7:00am. When closed we do not check guests in. If for unexpected events you are not able to check-in by 7:30pm you must call us before 7:30pm. If (and only if) one of us is available we will check you in but you will be charged the late check-in fee which depends on your arrival time (20 euros). If none of us is available to check you in after 7:30pm we will charge on your credit card the first night of stay.
2) check-out is by 9:30am on departure date
3) reservations can be cancelled without penalties until 3 days before the arrival date. If guests cancel their reservations in the 3 days that precede their arrival date we charge on their credit card the first night of stay.
4) we accept guests younger than 18 years old only if they are with their parents or on a school trip.
5) guests will be asked to respect our house rules: no alcohol drinking is accepted in the hostel, penalty if you lose the electronic key we will give to you to access the hostel, it's forbidden to bring inside the hostel people who are not sleeping in the hostel.

Features: all rooms are private (at youth hostel firenze 2000 we don't have rooms to share) and all are provided with private bathroom and shower. We have single rooms, double rooms, triple rooms, rooms with 4 and 5 beds.
Location: youth hostel firenze 2000 is located in the historical centre of florence (san frediano area) at 15 minutes on foot from the main railway station (smn).
Check-in: check-in from 2:00pm to 7:30pm reception is closed from 7:30pm to 7:00am (that's to say from 19:30 to 7:00) and during this time we don't check-in.
No curfew: after 7:30pm you will enter youth firenze 2000 using your keys!
Air conditioning: available at a small additional cost (1,00 euro per person per night).
Blankets and towels: blankets, towels and sheets are provided by youth hostel firenze 2000 and rooms are cleaned daily.
Internet facilities (wi-fi): at guests' disposal at small additional costs ( 1 day = 1,00 euros; 7 days = 7,00 euros).
Laundry= 5 euros, detergent included (no dryer available but open air racks available)
Breakfast: at youth hostel firenze 2000 we don't serve breakfast but from 7:00 to 9:30 we offer muffins and plumcakes and guests can have hot beverages from a vending machine for 0,50 euros. It's not something to wrote home about but it's something to start with!
Luggage storage: free at arrival (if you arrive before 2:00pm and your room is not ready yet!) And free at departure! (mind that reception closes at 7:30pm).
Parking lot: 1 parking lot at the rate is euro 15,00 per night. It is not possible to book it in advance but let us know if you are interested in it. We remind you that the car parked inside youth hostel firenze 2000 is not allowed neither to exit neither to enter between 20:00 and 7:00 that is during the reception closing time. Close to us there is a private garage open from 7:00 in the morning to 2:00 in the night, but it's a bit expensive (about 20,00/25,00 euros per day). By the way please consider that in the avenue we are located there are many parking places (at a charge).
