\'Da Rosetta\' is a tourist activity located in the most ancient street of San Gimignano, on the original way of "Via Francigena".
At the side of this road, in 1283, \'Donna Nobile" Hospital was built while in 1334, in a nearby building, Convent of "Santa Maria Maddalena" was located. Parallel to the main street of San Gimignano is "Via delle Romite" whose name comes from that ancient, until 1810 active convent.
Currently this completely restructured building, where a medieval Hospital was even placed, offers comfortable, peaceful rooms and flats for those people who want to enjoy the atmosphere of a medieval town with its ancient buildings, churches and lanes. This location will also give you the chance to join all the shows taking place in surrounding squares.
It will even give you the chance to visit the wonderful Tuscan countryside surrounding San Gimignano. Taking a short walk out of the town walls through the medieval gate \'Le Fonti\' you can easily reach San Jacopo Templar Church or the Cloister in \'Sant\'Agostino\' XIII° Century's Convent.
House \'Da Rosetta\' has independent apartments and rooms that lean out on a great park with pines and cypresses. They are all carefully equipped with ancient furniture, independent heating, bathroom and TV, you will also be provided with a common living room and a cooking space for your greater convenience as preparing breakfast or meals. A small breakfast is included in the price (tea, coffee and a croissant).

We have many buses:
- bus every half- hour for Siena
- bus every 1 hour for Florence
We have a bus from Saint Gimignano to the sea, departing in the morning, returning in the evening. Bus for Certaldo, Hill Val d' Elsa etc.
To Saint Gimignano you can arrive by car, come to our house first to drop the luggage and then leave the car at the parkings that are just 150/200 meters from us.
By car:
Follow signs for the parking 3 (P 3), continue on, pass the traffic lights at 'Limited Traffic Area' (we have permission let our customers in), pass Sant' Jacopo's door, continue to the right for 200 meters on Via Folgore and after the Museum of Fina Saint , turn on the left into Via delle Romite, and stop 50m onwards, beside Restaurant From Beppone.
By train:
From Florence or Siena, get off at Poggibonsi station and take the Bus Saint Gimignano (12 km). Otherwise get off at Saint Matteo, and proceed on foot for 200 m. When you arrive at Saint Giovanni's door, you must call us to the telephone number on your confirmation email because we do not live in the same house where the guesthouse is.
"Da Rosetta" is located along the Francigena Road, in Saint Gimignano center, city enrolled in the list of the Cultural and Natural World-wide Patrimony of the Unesco.
