For those looking to explore and sightsee, we're very close to the plethora of tourist attractions in the downtown area(Temple Square, etc.) , with easy access to Bus and Trax Lines.

Need to make a long distance phone call but didn't remember to bring a phone card? No problem!
We've recently acquired a Skype Phone for Hostel usage.
For a nominal fee, domestic and international services will be readily available when you need it most.

Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be made at least 3 day before your scheduled arrival day. Guests who miss their reservation date or cancel with less than 72 hours notice will be charged in full.

Directions from the Airport
A fifteen-minute taxi ride from the Salt Lake International Airport to Salt Lake international Hostel costs approximately $25.00 to $30. Call us at the airport, we will pick you up for $20.
The UTA Bus #550 from the international airport to Salt Lake City runs every 30 minutes Monday thru Friday 6:42am till 10:50pm, and the cost is $2.50

INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO CENTRAL STATION
1. Board bus #550 to Salt Lake central station
2. Transfer to Bus # 3 at Central Station
3. Get off bus at 3rd Avenue and E Street
4. Walk 2 blocks to 2ed Avenue and F Street

If driving, take the Airport Road to I-80 East. Travel I-80 toward downtown. Merge onto UT-186 E toward City Center/North Temple ST. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto West North Temple/US-89. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto 2ND AVE. Avenues Hostel is on the Northwest corner of 2nd Ave. and F St.

Driving Directions To Hostel:

Southbound I-15:
(coming from Bountiful, Lagoon, Ogden, Yellowstone, Idaho etc.)
1. Take 600 North Exit (#309).
2. Take the 600 NO. EAST ramp.
3. Turn LEFT onto 600 N / UT-268.
4. Turn RIGHT onto 300 W / US-89.
5. Turn LEFT onto NORTH TEMPLE / US-89.
6. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto 2nd AVE (North Temple become Second Ave. after State Street).
7. End at 550 East 2nd Ave. (North Temple) Salt Lake International Hostel


Northbound I-15:
(coming from Sandy, Provo, Southern Utah, Las Vegas, Zion National Park etc.)
1. Take 600 South Exit (#306).
2. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto 600 S / UT-269 E.
3. Turn LEFT onto STATE ST / US-89.
4. Turn RIGHT onto North TEMPLE.
5. Stay straight on 2nd Ave. (North Temple becomes 2nd Ave. after turning right.)
6. End at 550 East 2nd Ave. (North Temple) Salt Lake International Hostel

Westbound I-80:
(coming from Park City, Wyoming, etc.)
1. Take the UT-71 / 7TH EAST exit- EXIT (#125).
2. Turn RIGHT onto 700 E / UT-71. Continue to follow 700 E.
3. Turn LEFT onto SOUTH TEMPLE.
4. Turn RIGHT onto F ST.
5. End at 550 East 2nd Ave. (North Temple) Salt Lake International Hostel


Eastbound I-80:
(coming from Airport, Reno, etc.)
1. I-80 E toward SALT LAKE.
2. Take the UT-186 E toward CITY CTR. / NORTH TEMPLE ST.
