We are proud of our hostel! Being that we are in the best neighborhood, we strive to be the best at providing a safe, clean, comfortable, and affordable place for travelers to stay.

Our mission statement is simple.
'To provide clean, comfortable accommodation in a friendly environment at affordable prices'.

Our doubles have a comfortable bed, linen provided, storage and wardrobe space. They offer a high level of comfort and privacy at a very reasonable price.
Our dorms are inexpensive & cheerful offering great value accommodation in our clean, shared rooms, perfect for making friends. 4, 5, 6 and 8 bed dorms are available.


Location:
We are situated in the Historic Avenues District, yet are less than a 5 minute ride by bus 15 minutes walking from Salt Lake's city centre.
We are minutes walk away from world famous Temple Square and the Salt Palace.
Salt Lake - a great place to chill out or get active with hiking, biking, skiing, snow boarding, rollerblading and much more.

Our housekeeping team are permanent and professional staff who care about what they do
All bathrooms are cleaned daily and fresh linen is given out to every guest.

Fun:
Our staff is young, helpful and friendly, as well as knowledgeable on what to do in and around Salt Lake City. We make it easy to meet other cool travelers, with small dorm sizes, a spacious common area, and a variety of group activities on offer. The nightlife in Salt Lake is second to none, with numerous clubs, bars and coffee shops with great interactive entertainment and drink specials every night.

We have all the facilities you need free internet access, free movies, a great patio, laundry, public phones and more. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the supermarkets, convenience stores, and the bank. Public transportation to the ski resorts, centre city and beyond leave from one block from our front door. One bus ride from the airport to our hostel.

Our dormitory rooms are shared by from 4 to 8 people per room

For check in, an ID with photo is required, and we accept passport or valid driver's license. Our check out time is at 10:00 am.
For the payment we accept Visa and Master Card, traveler’s check and cash.
Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be made at least 3 day before your scheduled arrival day. Guests who miss their reservation date or cancel with less than 72 hours notice will be charged in full, plus a $2.00 cancellation Fee.
No Shows Will Be Charged The Full Reservation Amount!
Please note: that our weekly special discount and international traveler discount will be applied a time of check-in. It will not appear on your reservation.

Directions from the Airport
A fifteen-minute taxi ride from the Salt Lake International Airport to Salt Lake international Hostel costs approximately $17.00.
The UTA Bus #50 from the international airport to Salt Lake City runs every 30 minutes Monday thru Friday 6:18am till 11:36pm, and the cost is $1.60.

INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ask the information desk for the bus stop)
1. Walk to stop located at 4000 W 400 N
2. Board Route #550 Airport to Intermodal Center.
3. Ask the bus driver where you need to get off for connecting #3 bus
Then
1. Board Route #3 and get off 3rd AVE.
2. Get off at stop located at 3rd AVE F ST.

If driving, take the Airport Road to I-80 East. Travel I-80 toward downtown. Merge onto UT-186 E toward City Center/North Temple ST. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto West North Temple/US-89. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto 2ND AVE. Avenues Hostel is on the Northwest corner of 2nd Ave. and F St.

Driving Directions To Hostel:

Southbound I-15:
(coming from Bountiful, Lagoon, Ogden, Yellowstone, Idaho etc.)
1. Take 600 North Exit (#312).
2. Take the 600 NO. EAST ramp.
3. Turn LEFT onto 600 N / UT-268.
4. Turn RIGHT onto 300 W / US-89.
5. Turn LEFT onto NORTH TEMPLE / US-89.
6. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto 2nd AVE (North Temple become Second Ave. after State Street).
7. End at 550 East 2nd Ave. (North Temple) Salt Lake International Hostel


Northbound I-15:
(coming from Sandy, Provo, Southern Utah, Las Vegas, Zion National Park etc.)
1. Take 600 South Exit (#310).
2. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto 600 S / UT-269 E.
3. Turn LEFT onto STATE ST / US-89.
4. Turn RIGHT onto North TEMPLE.
5. Stay straight on 2nd Ave. (North Temple becomes 2nd Ave. after turning right.)
6. End at 550 East 2nd Ave. (North Temple) Salt Lake International Hostel

Westbound I-80:
(coming from Park City, Wyoming, etc.)
1. Take the UT-71 / 7TH EAST exit- EXIT (#125).
2. Turn RIGHT onto 700 E / UT-71. Continue to follow 700 E.
3. Turn LEFT onto SOUTH TEMPLE.
4. Turn RIGHT onto F ST.
5. End at 550 East 2nd Ave. (North Temple) Salt Lake International Hostel


Eastbound I-80:
(coming from Airport, Reno, etc.)
1. I-80 E toward SALT LAKE.
