Active Adventure

We offer many custom adventures from the Novice onlooker, to the extreme interactive thrill seeker. We offer 2 hour rides, classes to learn to drive your own team, to overnight (YES, in the snow :) expedition style trips where you camp out and drive your own teams.

Typical Day

On a typical class day, which is our most popular adventure, you learn the basics of a dog sled kennel, handeling dogs, feeding, watering, harnessing etc... You become comfortable within the kennel and handeling the dogs. Then you start the basics of putting a team together, and basic instruction on how to drive the sled. We then sit down to a hot lunch of beef (or vegetarian) stew, bread, and hot drinks. After lunch is when the fun really begins! We get you on the back of a sled that is towed first by a snowmobile, to give you the feel of the sled on snow, then when we think you are ready, we hook up the dogs! After that, it's all "downhill"..you add more dogs, and get more comfortable on the sled. We guarantee a good time, and that YOU WILL be able to drive a sled by the end of the day.

Age range, type of group

We can accomodate up to 375 lbs in each sled for the tours (ie. mom, dad, small child). For the classes we offer group sizes anywhere from 2 to 10 people each group, or we offer custom large group team building and corporate retreat type classes. For the classes, the age range is 13-113 (if you feel up to it!) and for the basic tours we can accomodate anyone from one year old on up.

Sleeping and meals

All trip are custom fit adventures, so we can accomodate a luxury package with a bed and breakfast, or hotel, to camp fires and "roughing it"....let us know what you want and we make it happen. A lunch is included with the classes, and hot drinks and snacks are included in the 2 hour tours. Special requests will always be honored if possible. Vegetarian meals upon request.

Policies & Restrictions

Please no pets. Our dogs are a team, and it only confuses things when other dogs are around.

Rates & Availability

2 Hour rides start at $250 per sled (up to 375 lb weight limit in sled)
Classes start at $400 for 1-2 People, $625 3-5 people, $800 6-8 people
Overnight trips and corporate retreats available upon request, please contact us directly for pricing.

Other Information

We also offer private parties at your location or ours, corporate and team building activities, Christmas parties, as well as planning and catering services available upon request. Vacation Packages, that include lodging, activites including dog sledding and other adventures also available.
