Surrounding Area

Stowe is the quintessential Vermont village with church steeple, general store, and quant Main Street. Mt. Mansfield is 8 miles from town and is known as the premier ski destination of the East. The mountain is currently undergoing a 400$ million reconstruction including new runs, lifts, shopping, hotels, ice skating rink, and restaurants. Stowe is also know for its cross country skiing with hundreds of miles of trails just minutes away from Goldilocks cabin. Other winter activities include: Sleigh rides, dog sledding, snow mobiling, ice skating, and snow shoeing. Stowe has a wide variety of restaurants, great shopping, and lots of antiquing in the surroudning area, with plenty of great bargains. Day trip include: Burlington, lots of great shopping and restaurants, lake Champlain; Montpelier, the scenic state capital; Woodstock, a must see, another charming Vermont village; and, of course, Montreal. Stowe is a 4 season vacation destination, as popular during fall foliage season, as in the summertimel. Fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, the list of summer activities goes on and on. There a dozen lakes nearby, out door concerts, balloon rides, the alpine mountain slide.

Vacation Rental Property

This romantic Vermont holiday rental is petite and perfect. Just 900 square feet, with a spacious great room with wood stove, fully equipped kitchen, dining room that seats six, and a cozy living area with a sleeper sofa. The luxurious master suite has a private deck, a sitting area, queen sized four poster bed with sumptuous bedding, and television. The bath with shower is comfy and quant, with plenty of room for all you needs. The ladder in the great room, leads to the sleeping loft with full sized bed (a favorite with older childen).

Maximum occupancy: Six. Queen bed in master, and sleeper sofa. Sleeper sofa in living room, and loft with full sized bed. One bath with shower (no tub).

Two televisions, Bose radio, DVD, wood stove, esspresso machine, wifi, fully equipped kitchen, stainless steel appliances, mud room for ski storage, two decks, gas grill, outdoor seating.

Housekeeping upon request, as well as massages on the property, upon request.

Policies & Restrictions

Well-behaved, approved pets are always welcome at Goldilocks. We love pets but have some very nice things, so a short screening process is required to approve pets. This is a non-smoking cabin, you are welcome to smoke on either of the two decks.

Rates & Availability

Winter: $250 per night, $1500 per week. 3 night minimum.
Spring: $150 per night, $950 per week.
Fall: $225 per night, $1300 per week. 3 night minimum.
Summer:$225 per night, $1300 per week, 3 night minimum.
Christmas and New Year: $495 per night, inquire as to minimum.
President's week: $1650 per week. 7 night minimum.

Other Information

Other fees: $85 cleaning fee, 10% Vermont state room tax. There is also a fully refundable security deposit of $500 which is due 2 weeks prior to arrival and is refunded as soon as cabin is cleaned and inspected.
