Burnt Toast Surfcamp

Burnt Toast Surfcamp is located in a small village near Playa Guiones and Playa Pelada called Nosara, on the peninsula of Nicoya, Guanacaste in Costa Rica. With several secret spots close by, also shops, video rentals, ATV rentals and a small airport at 5 minutes drive, Burnt Toast Surfcamp is a home far away. It gives you rest and peace when you need it!

Burnt Toast Surfcamp is located 600 meters from the beach Guiones, it has a jungle view and all the comfort you need (safe and clean, bedrooms, shared bathroom and kitchen). Playa Guiones, situated on a point of the peninsula, catches north and south swell and offers you 360 days of surfing possibility with perfect conditions.

We speak four languages: Dutch, English, French and Spanish and will help you realize your wishes with joy.
We also arrange transport from/to the airport of San José.

Luxurious apartments for groups [4 to 6 guests] located in a quiet neighborhood in Nosara, near the beaches Playa Pelada (5 min walking), Playa Guiones and the town center. Guests benefit from the wealth of options available nearby. Within walking distance there are surf shops, grocery stores, ATV-rentals, bars, dozens of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets, and many other services.

The camp has fully equipped kitchen facilities available for guests to use, bathrooms, internet and indoor and outdoor lounges to hang out. We have a seaview-platform, so swell in sight.

Directions

By plane:

- From San José: Juan Santamaria international airport
- From Liberia: Daniel Oduber international airport

From both airports flights are possible with local aircompanies appr. 80$ to Nosara airport (appr. 45 min),

By car (from San José):

1.Take the Panamerican Highway (0,20$ fee) : Direction San Ramon, Puntarenas, Liberia;

2.When you see a Shell petrol station, go left cross 'La amistad de Taiwan' bridge direction Nicoya;

3.Follow direction Samara;

4.At the petrol station go right (about 4km before Samara);

5.Direction Playa Garza, Guiones, Nosara;

6.First entry from Playa Pelada, 400m towards Beach ,there it is... Burnt Toast Surfcamp!;

Once in Playa Guiones just call us and we'll come and get you!
Time on the road: approx. 5 hours


By car (from Liberia):

1. Direction Febrero, San Junquillal, Ostional;

2. Follow direction Nosara;

3. Secon entry from Playa Pelada, 400m


By bus (From San José)

? Take the busstop in San José: Alfaro, located 100m right from Coca-Cola building downtown.
