Affittacamere Stella

The guest house Stella is located about 400 hundred meters from 'Porta Sant'Anna', one of the most beautiful entrances of the famous walls of Lucca.

The property, an early 20th century building, has been recently renovated, taking care to preserve the traditional features, such as the wooden beam ceilings and the beautiful floors in 'lucchese style'.

Located in a quiet alley, only ten minutes walk to the old town, the guest house Stella offers private parking. However, one can reach the main attractions without needing to take the car.

Next door there is a well known pastry shop, where guests can get their breakfast or a quality snack at any time of the day.
On the ground floor, a spacious fully furnished self service kitchen is at the guests' disposal. Tea and coffee making facilities are available all day long.
All rooms at Stella have a private bathroom and are equipped with modern amenities, decorated in the traditional italian style, with warm and comfortable furnishings and a light colour scheme that lend your stay a feeling of historic tranquility.

Directions

By train:
Lucca Station (2km - 20 mins walk)
Lines Firenze-Lucca, Pisa-Lucca and Viareggio-Lucca. As arrived at the station, one can take a taxi or public transports (get off in Piazzale Verdi).

By Bus:
Last stop in Piazzale Verdi (500 meters - 5 mins walk)
The company Lazzi-Vaibus connects Lucca with Pisa airport, Florence and Viareggio. There's a bus every hour, the stop is Piazzale Verdi (Porta S. Anna), a few hundred meters from us. The bus Lucca - Pisa airport Via Ripafratta stops in via Pisana, just right in front of our hotel.

By car:

Autostrada A11 Firenze mare - direction Pisa nord
Autostrada A12 Genova-Livorno- direction Livorno: exit Viareggio, then take the A11 to Lucca/Firenze

Exit at Lucca Ovest.
Once you have paid, make sure you don't go straight on, do a right and then a left turn following the sign for 'Tourist Information'.
Go straight on at the traffic lights and pass over the railway bridge, until you find another traffic light after the roundabout. Turn right here, you are now in Via Pisana. Drive along for 800 metres, you will find a pastry shop called Stella on the right-hand side, opposite a petrol station. Here you will find the hotel.
