Ostello Della Gioventù Di Parma

It is upon the culture of welcome and the quality of given services that the hospitality of the new Youth Hostel in Parma, run by Auroradomus Parma - A.I.G. (Italian Youth Hostels Association) is based on.

Inaugurated in Spring of 2007, the new Youth Hostel of Parma is nearby exit n. 6 of the north ring road, just 1.8 km from the railway station and 4.5 km from the airport and in front of the biggest mall in town.

Just outside the building there's the bus stop. Buses number 2 and 13 take a few minutes to reach the very centre of the city.

20 rooms, 83 beds. Each room with private bath, shower and bidet. Air (cool and warm) conditioning. The Youth Hostel offers to its guests big common areas, equipped with TV, comfortable sofas where to read and relax, self service area for breakfast: meeting spaces for everybody willing to meet new friends in a simple but warm atmosphere.

Groups can park the bus using the parking area in the back of the building and capitalise the many opportunities that the Youth Hostel offers in partnership with the city administration (theatres, museums, etc…).

The reception is open 24h. Check out must be done up to 9.30 am. Check in time is at 1.00 pm.24 hrs cancellation policy.

Internet point and a free Wi-Fi area, connecting the Youth Hostel to the whole world, are at complete disposal of the guests.

Each room has own bath, equipped with shower and bidet. Other than shared rooms, there are family rooms, which offer private bath and the possibility of an extra bed for little children, giving a service almost comparable to a three star rated hotel.

An automatic self-service laundry service is also available.

Directions

To reach the Hostel from the railway station of Parma, take bus number 13 heading north (not the one to the town centre!) and get off at 'Centro Torri'. Crossed via San Leonardo, the Hostel is located a few meters on the left.

To reach the Hostel from the Parma's exit of highway A1, once placed in the roundabout take the second exit (via San Leonardo) and proceed for about 1.5 kilometers. On the right, in front of the shopping center 'Centro Torri' is the Hostel.

To reach the Hostel from the airport of Parma, take bus number 6 and get off at the train station (Piazzale Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa). From here, change buses, taking the number 13 in a northerly direction (not the one to the town centre!) and get off at 'Centro Torri'. Crossed via San Leonardo, the Hostel is located a few meters on the left.
