A great, big 70s house in Usseira, a little village near Óbidos, It's a place for all backpackers. Our philosophy is to allow you to feel at home: you can expect good moments, good food and a really amazing time! You'll enjoy it. That's what we can promise!

Our property is a 70'S house with 480 square meters, located in country side, 3 Km away from the medieval Óbidos, and near public transport stops. The house is composed of 1 mixed dorm room for 4 guests and 2 double room, a fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms.

It allows travellers to have a good night's sleep, to prepare their own meals, to do the laundry etc.

We have 2 living rooms, both with fireplace, where travellers can watch TV, DVD's, and a big wonderful balcony to simply relax in in the company of a good book. We also offer you 24 hours free internet, and have 2 bicycles to use for free.

Facilities: can use the kitchen, and barbecue; can reserve dinner/lunch and we'll cook for you.

Directions

Directions from Lisbon Airport:

1. As you leave the airport you will come to a large roundabout with traffic lights. Take the first available right off this roundabout. (Signed 2a Circular). This will bring you up onto an urban motorway. Within 1.5 kms you will pick up the blue motorway signs indicating the A8 to Loures/Leiria. Follow this.

2. Keep on this motorway for approximately 73 kms picking up signs for Torres Vedras, Lourinha, Bombarral, Peniche, Obidos and Caldas da Rainha. take the Exit 13 towards S. Mamede/A-da-Gorda. Head towards a-da-gorda. continue along N8. Turn first road on the right (have the sign 'usseira'. Continue along Rua Principal. The house is the number 89, on your right side,2 or 3 houses after 'Poço dos Sabores'(restaurant).

A taxi from Lisbon airport costs around 100€

BUS - From Campo Grande, Lisbon can pick the bus to Caldas da Rainha, that stops in Óbidos. Coasts around € 6,50, and will take more or less 40 minutes.
Then, when arrive Óbidos give us a call, that we'll pick you up, or pick a bus from Óbidos to Usseira and ask to stop near the Restaurant 'Poço dos Sabores'!

Don't came to óbidos by train, will spend ages to arrive!
