Active Adventure

trekking in the spectacular Swiss Alps with a professional American mountain guide. We offer inn to inn treks on the famous Haute Route from Chamonix, France to Zermatt, Switzerland and also the Berner Oberland trek. We spend the days high in the Swiss Alps along the alpine trail system and drop down into villages to stay at comfortable 3-star hotels at night.

This trip is suitable for experienced hikers in good physical condition.

We include a baggage transfers along our Swiss treks so your luggage is waiting for you when you arrive each night.

Our professional mountain guides are fluent in French. The alpine vistas along these treks are among the best in the world!

Typical Day

A typical day involves shouldering a 10lb pack after breakfast and heading out along the trail towards the next illage. We have a trail lunch along the way and usually arrive at our next destination in the mid-afternoon. Our days usually involve 5-6 hours of hiking with 2-3 thousand feet of elevation gain.

Sleeping and meals

We spend some nights in very comfortable 3-star hotels in small Swiss villages. Breakfast and full dinner is included.
