Split, Croatia Kayaking & Canoeing

Active Adventure

During one week time, unique combination of mountains, river and sea will make it possible for you to experience the thrill of rafting and canyoning on Cetina River. Furthermore, you will paddle and snorkel in the crystal clear Adriatic Sea and walk the old and forgotten hiking trails. These adventures are equally exciting for all generations and they do not require any previous experience. Combination of the adrenaline adventures and relaxation in a hostel type house in village Zadvarje will provide you with a week of unique active holiday in Croatia for a very small budget.

Typical Day

After a good night sleep and breakfast in the morning, we will take you to one of our adventure tours as scheduled: Hiking, Canyoning, Rafting and Sea kayaking and Relaxation day at the beach. After the activity you can chill out and explore surroundings of Zadvarje, where you will have dinner.
On your free day you can choose between our optional tours: Canoe safari at Vrljika river and visit to Imotski lakes.
We also offer you opportunity to rent bicycles for a day to explore the surrounding area.

Maximum group size is 20.

Minimum age is 10 if accompanied by an adult

ACCOMMODATION:
7 nights
Private accommodation (hostel type)
The accommodation in the center of village is hostel type accommodation and is designed for 15 persons. It has a mini kitchen and indoor dining room. The rooms have 2/3 beds while the toilets and showers are shared (camping style).

MEAL PLAN:
7 breakfasts
3 dinners
2 lunches in the local restaurant
1 picnic lunch
1 barbecue lunch
NOTE: For the days that do not include certain meal, local taverns are offering an option of a lunch or a dinner for a price of approx. 10 € per dish (beverages included).

RENT A BIKE
If you want to be active all the time and get to know the surrounding countryside well, you can rent bicycles Garry Fisher – Wahoo for 10 € per day.

ROCK CLIMBING
If you like rock climbing, there is great rock climbing area with cca 60 bolted routes of different grades only 10 min walk from the house. Wall is free for use.

HIKING AT NATURE PARK BIOKOVO MOUNTAIN
Hiking at nature park of Biokovo mountain (only 20 min walk from house) will give you an opportunity to explore parts of the 2nd highest mountain of Croatia, from where you will have a breathtaking view at islands of Dalmatia and whole Makarska Riviera.

BEACHES AND SWIMMING (ADRIATIC SEA OR CETINA RIVER)
Nearest sea beach is only 10 minutes drive. Transportation can be arranged for approx. 7 €/person - both directions.
Nearest river beach is only 5 minutes drive. Transportation can be arranged for approx. 5€/person - both directions.

NIGHT LIFE
Nearest discotheque is in city of Makarska - a popular destination for summer night life, with a beautiful sea promenade and lots of bars and restaurants. It takes only 25 minutes drive and transportation can be arranged for approximately 15 €/person in both directions.

DESERTED UNDERGROUND ARMY BASE
You can visit army base carved into mountain Biokovo during 1950-es and Tito’s government, used as a shelter against potential atomic war, while now it is used for growth of mushrooms. For a small fee certain locals will take you there, where you can even taste some of the mushrooms delicacies, while listening to the story about the base history.
