How to get to Naples by car:
Arriving from the North, the main road leading to Naples is the Autostrada del Sole Milan-Naples. After the toll of Caserta Sud is a ring of about 8 km, leading to different exits to the city. To reach the center is advised to follow directions to Napoli Centro-Stazione Marittima Porto-central station.
After a few km you'll see another junction where you can take the direction for the port, which runs along Via Marina or the direction of Central Station, which always leads to the center but through the bustling Corso Umberto. If you need to reach areas far from the city center (Fuorigrotta, Bagnoli) should take the exit ring.
Arriving from the South via the Salerno-Reggio Calabria reaches the same intersection and follow the signs to Napoli Centro-Stazione Marittima Porto-central station or bypass. Even the Bari-Naples reaches the junction where then there are the exits to the bypass or Naples Center.
How to reach Naples by train
Napoli has 3 main train stations where trains depart and arrive from other Italian cities and abroad. Central Station (Piazza Garibaldi) is the most important: 22 rails for the trains arriving from all Italian destinations. Napoli Centrale is recommended for those who must travel into town or Beverello to embark for the islands. Naples Mergellina is the intermediate station, near the pier Mergellina from where hydrofoils leave for the islands of the Gulf. Naples Campi Flegrei is a bus stop outside the city center and closer to the Stadium. It is ideal for those with the hotel Fuorigrotta, Bagnoli, Pozzuoli and the Campi Flegrei. All three stations are integrated with the metro line and the point of departure and arrival city bus.
