Canada, Québec - Îles de la Madeleine archipelago is located in the middle of the Gulf of St-Lawrence river (eastern part of Canada). Those islands are well known for their 300 km of golden sandy beachs, their red carved cliffs, their green hills, and their warmful people. The acadian people is different for their sens of humor, their hospitallity, their culture, their historical issues and their 'no-stress' life style. If you like fresh sea food you will get served! Fisheries are the first economy, so there is a lot of fishermans harbour here. If you want to relax on a beach, to walk the hills, to enjoy the sea ambiance and the wind by one of the many outdoor activities offers - kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, kite flying, horseback riding, fishing excursions, bird watching, hiking, and cycling - or you want to go out at night having a beer and meet people: it's the perfect place for you!.

How to get here?

The hostel is located at 18km from the airport. At the end of airport road turn right on the main road (199 rd). Keep on the main road all the time and pass Cap-aux-Meules center. At the second street light, turn left on Gros-Cap road and keep going 2 km. Than turn left again on camping's road.

By boat : A ferry is operational from Souris in Prince Edward Island or from Chandler in Gaspésie. For crossing schedule and fees, contact: www.ctma.ca

The hostel is located at 4km from the harbour. From the ferry, turn left on the main road (199 rd). At the second street light, turn left on Gros-Cap road and keep going 2 km. Then turn left again on camping's road.
