Welcome to Chill Inn Atacames (Hostal and Bar) 'Swiss-run', small, clean and friendly hostel with nice rooms, good beds and areas with hammocks to just hang out. Our restaurant offers breakfasts and at the outdoor "beach-style" bar you can enjoy delicious fruit juices, shakes, fruit salads and a wide range of exotic drinks .

Chill Inn Atacames has comfortable rooms for 2 - 8 people rooms with balcony, fans, private bathroom, parking. On the roof we even have space for tents; the perfect atmosphere for couples, small groups or families.

Chill Inn Atacames offer free parking, Some rooms have TV, Common area with Cable-TV and DVD, wide range of movies, games, small library with travel books, Wifi Internet will be available soon, towels for free use, great atmosphere for couples, small groups and families, free coffee, tea and sugar, extra shower and luggage store if you travel much later than check out, bar and breakfast service, and much more

We are an international team of South Americans guided by Swiss management (Ex-owner of the Backpackers' Inn Quito) with the intent to help you to feel well. We believe our mixture of cultures allows our hostel to maintain our high level of hospitality. At our hostel you will find the perfect combination of Latin American friendliness with Western European tidiness. Yoli, the owner, speaks several languages. From the moment you enter our Hostel, you will discover that it is so much more than just a place to sleep.

Directions

Our guest house is ideally situated, in a quiet street only a 50 m from the beach, near to all kind of shops and just around the corner for enjoying night life on the Malecón; A good place to be for just taking a few days off from stress, to relax, to enjoy culinary delights and having a good time.
The Chill Inn Atacames is located a few steps away from the famous and bustling Malecón. Where the artesanal market ends you take this street for leaving the Malecón and after around 50 m you will figure out our Hostel Chill Inn on your left hand side.

Street do not have names here in Atacames, if you are not sure also ask for Salida del Paco Foco (or Diagonal Al Bachita).

How to get here and how much does it cost to get there?

By bus for 8 USD one way with one of the bus companies who has a terminal in the Mariscal in Quito, so you avoid going to the outlying bus terminals (terminales terrestres). Ask for Panamericana, TransEsmeraldas o Transoccidental. The journey takes about 7 - 8 hours.
From one of the bus terminals or from the main street you catch a triciclo (motorized tricycle) and tell the driver to take direction Malecon. When you see in front of you a wall written "Cabañas los Bohios", this street you enter left and after some meters you will find the hostel Chill Inn on your right (white house with 3 floors). As the hostel is new maybe people does not already know the name A good place to be for just taking a few days off from stress, to relax, to enjoy culinary delights and having a good time

For 2 persons this transport costs 1 USD.

By airplane for around 60 USD one-way. The flight duration is about 30 minutes.

From the airport Esmeraldas, you can take a cab that should not cost more than 15 USD. Arriving to Atacames tell the driver that he takes direction to the Malecón.
