Terms and Conditions:
Nepal Hiking is a trustworthy and registered Company under the laws of Nepal and accepts your bookings under the following terms and conditions.
1. Down Payment
A 20% down payment must be made in advance per company policy to confirm a trip with us.
20% - If more than eight weeks before arrival date.
100% - If less than eight weeks before the arrival date (please get in touch with us if this will cause you a problem; we do try to be flexible)
2. Last-Minute Booking
We accept your last-minute booking with 100% payment (07 days before the tour starting date ONLY IN CASES OF NEPAL TRIPS, but LAST-MINUTE BOOKING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE FOR INDIA, BHUTAN AND TIBET TRIPS).
3. Refund
No refund will be made for the 20% deposit amount in case of cancellation of the trip for any other else reason.
Having paid the full amount of any trip, you are entitled to incur a refund if you want to cancel your trip. Still, the cancellation charge is invoiced to you. Written notification of your cancellation should be made to cancel any trip. Nevertheless, you’re imposed a cancellation charge as advised below: -
56 days or more deposit retained
42 - 55 days before departure, 50%
29 - 41 days before departure, 75%
01 - 28 days before departure 100%
4. Supplement Charge
On our holidays tour/trek packages, rooms or tents are provided on twin sharing basis. Thus, a single room supplement charge will be a supplement for the client who does not have another tour participant to share a room/tent.
5. Incomplete Tour
No refund will be made to clients who drop out from the journey, regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary.
6. Amendment in Tour Cost
We reserve the right to revise the pricing rate posted on our website, under any circumstances or on the pressure of various external factors that are further than our control, for instance, changes in the exchange rate, government action etc. But, we put forth an effort to keep at the present rate.
7. Unforeseen Circumstances
If the company cancels your trip thanks to unforeseen circumstances like war, natural disasters, conflict, unfavourable climate etc., we would be happy to refer you alternative trip of a similar standard. Even if this does not fit your interest, the company will refund all the money paid. But remember, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.
08. Clients' Responsible
A tour/trek guide representing Accessible Adventure deserves all authority during your tours. However, you are compelled to leave the tour if you commit any unlawful act. No refund will be made in such a case.
09. Impact on your journey
We put us every effort to ensure your comfortable travelling of yours. Still, one must understand that what you might be accustomed to in affluent western countries, the Himalayan countries can't afford such facilities. Moreover, the weather is another factor that directly impacts your journey. Hence, patience in mind, enthusiasm and proper preparation before heading is a must to venture into a journey.
10. Travel Insurance
You must purchase a comprehensive travel insurance package against medical, natural calamity, helicopter evacuation, personal accident, trip cancellation etc. It is strongly suggested to all our esteemed clients.
11. Tour Amendment
Prior notice is requested to make alterations to any trek/tour itinerary. You're advised to stay in touch with us thus. But occasionally, you may be obliged to do so en route under certain circumstances, such as bad weather.
12. Your personal belongings
On any account, we are not answerable for any loss or damage of your luggage or property belonging to you, even when shouldered by porters, ponies or vehicles. That means your possessions and luggage are at your risk at the time.
13. Papers & Documents
All necessary documents should be presented in sequence, for example, to issue visas, necessary permits etc. We are not accountable if any trip formality is not completed before the trip departs without essential papers and documents.
14. Risk & Responsibility
Your safety and enjoyment are our prime concerns. Therefore, we carry out our responsibility honestly & sincerely to ensure your holiday is trouble-free as well as you have desired. Nevertheless, unless stated otherwise, we can amend your trip under uncertain and inherent circumstances such as landslides, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delayed arrival, sickness or accidents etc. Any extra cost incurred is your responsibility and should be borne on the spot.
15. Flight Delay/Cancellation
There is a possibility of flight delay or postponement for notorious weather in Himalayan regions, which could be happened, in particular, in the Everest region (Lukla), Jomsom, Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region etc.
Trekking in remote areas or as described above, especially during the odd season, you are highly advised to reserve extra days to prepare for some delays and avoid frustrating consequences. Furthermore, in case of flight cancellation pre-tour/post-tour, you need to meet your accommodation and food costs yourself.
