Happy Camp Torre Del Porticciolo

The campsite is located high above the most picturesque of bays half way between the vibrant town of Alghero and the spectacular cliffs and coastline of Capo Caccia, a coastline famous for its beaches, coves and caves. From above the views down into the cove and the beach are spectacular as the bay opens out to a long, curved sandy beach surrounded by cliffs with, at its tip, a magical medieval tower which watches over the sea that surrounds it on three sides. The campsite is medium-sized, lively and family run and offers varied activities which will ensure your stay in Sardinia will be unforgettable!

Position:
Only 10km from Alghero - Fertilia airport, 15km from the historic centre of Alghero and 40km from the ferry port at Porto Torres. In fact, access to this campsite from all 3 destinations is incredibly easy. The campsite itself is found in an area of great natural beauty along a coastline known as "the Coral Riviera" and is part of over 80 km of unique and spectacular coastline. Alghero itself is considered the "little Barcelona" of Italy due to its strong links with the Catalonian capital which extend even as far as the local dialect which is almost uniquely Catalan.

Peculiarities:

The campsite is perfect for excursions to some of Sardinia's most well-known and impressive beaches, including Stintino and Bosa as well as trips to the wildlife and marina reserve on the Island of Asinara. The campsite accepts payment only by magnetic card - rechargeable at reception. There is also an obligatory Club Card which costs €1 per day per person over the age of 5, for up to 7 days. Anyone staying longer than 7 days will only pay for the first week.

Beach: Access 100m down steps to sandy beach. Free bathing only.

To pay on site: cot and high chair, €2.00 per item, per day.
Deposit: €100, in cash, payable on arrival.
Linen: not offered as standard but can be ordered at time of booking at Happy Camp tariff.
Final cleaning: you must leave the accommodation clean or we will deduct €30 from your deposit.
Parking: cars must be parked on the internal campsite car park and at no extra charge.
Arrival and departure: your accommodation will be available from 16:00 on day of arrival, and must be vacated by 10:00 on day of departure.

Cancellation Policy: 72h before arrival.

Barbecues: are not allowed but only in designated areas.

From Porto Torres: exit the port and follow signs for " Zona industriale - Stintino - Alghero", cross the bridge over the Riu Mannu river and turn left. Follow to the traffic lights and turn right onto the SP34 (Stintino Alghero); then left onto the SP42 towards Alghero to the SS291 in direction Fertilia. At the traffic lights follow signs for Torre Porticciolo turning right after approx 15km. the campsite is at the end of this road. From Alghero airport: turn right out of the airport and follow the road along to the end. Turn right, following the SS291 towards the SP55 Bis. Here, turn right and follow until the sign for Torre del Porticciolo. Turn left and the campsite is approx. 1,5km on the right at the end of the road.
