A venice emeralds is located in the best area of venice, ( you read down the history of our area ) 1 minute walking distance from campo santa maria formosa, and 5 minute from san marco museum and rialto area and other important monuments of venice.
Please be aware that the facilities are 100% non-smoking.
A venice emeralds is in a 15th century palazzo (building),there is no elevator.
We have rooms with private external bathroom and rooms with en-suite bathroom located on the second and third floors. All bathrooms have full shower and bathtubs.
We provide a computer in the sitting room and any room have lcd tv, and you are also free to use your own laptop to connect using either wi-fi.we have amazing terrace.
However you will discover venice and our area in an incredibly and emotion adventure.

Directions

By plane

From Venice 'Marco Polo' airport, there are several options to reach A venice emeralds:

- with a private water taxi get off at the stop in front of the hotel;

- with the 'Alilaguna' speed boat get off at San Zaccaria (the trip should last about 1 and 15 minutes, cost 13,00 €).

From Riva degli Schiavoni go towards Calle delle Rasse, beside Hotel Danieli. Walk along this street until you reach Campo di San Filippo e Giacomo. Once you arrive here turn right for Calle Drio la Chiesa and after the bridge, Calle dei Mercanti. Turn left for Calle Corte Rotta and Ruga Giuffa, until you reach first on left ramo grimani 4860.

Go around the church and when you arrive to the canal (Canale dei Preti) follow the 'fondamenta' on your right to the 'Venezia Air Terminal' bus (cost 3 €) will bring you to Piazzale Roma in 20 minutes. From here you can take vaporetto no. 2 (Canal Grande ticket, cost 6,50 €)and get off at the Rialto stop. From here, take Calle Larga Mazzini and then turn left for Campo San Bartolomeo; take Sotoportego della Bissa and then Salizzada San Lio after the bridge. Take the Calle del Mondo Nuovo.

After you cross the bridge, you will find yourself in Campo Santa Maria Formosa. On the side opposite the church cross the bridge of Ruga Giuffa 10 meters on the left you arrive at Ramo grimani 4860

By car and walking
Arriving by car, you can park in Piazzale Roma, in Garage San Marco which offers a special rate for our hotel. You can then reach Locanda Formosa in two ways:
- with a private water taxi which brings you in front of the hotel;
- with vaporetto no.2 (Canal Grande ticket, cost 6,50 €), get off at the Rialto stop. From here, take Calle Larga Mazzini and then turn left for Campo San Bartolomeo; take Sotoportego della Bissa and then Salizzada San Lio after the bridge.After about 100 meters, turn to the left for Calle del Mondo Nuovo.

By train and walking

From Venice 'Santa Lucia' railway station you can reach Locanda Formosa in two ways:
- with a private water taxi which brings you in front of the Campo Santa maria Formosa;
- with vaporetto no.2 (Canal Grande ticket, cost 6,50 €), get off at the Rialto stop. From here, take Calle Larga Mazzini and then turn left for Campo San Bartolomeo; take Sotoportego della Bissa and then Salizzada San Lio after the bridge.
