The Mayflower Oaxaca Property is a small extension of the popular Mayflower Hotel and Youth Property in Puerto Escondido, surfers´ paradise. It is located in the historic center of Oaxaca, within easy walking distance to the famous Santo Domingo Church, the Zócalo (town square), artisan and regular markets, shops with Oaxaca textiles, black and red pottery, silver, as well as restaurants and parks, one of which is the beautiful Llano, across the street from the property. We will book tours for you or guide you to see the Monte Alban ruins and colorful markets on your own.

There are only five rooms in this old Colonial house, 3 private rooms with double beds, shared bathrooms, and 2 dorms with 5 beds each. It is almost like living in a private Oaxaca Colonial home of years gone by - very inexpensively

Very pretty patios, fully equipped kitchen for guest use, lots of books, free wi-fi and limited free computer access.

Directions

5 minutes walking distance from the 1st class bus terminal, take Av Pino Suarez, cut diagonally across the Llano park to the far right corner, cross Av Juarez and we are at the corner, where there is a small Pitico grocery store. 2nd class bus terminal and van terminals taxi for the sake of convenience.
All city buses 4.5 pesos, taxi 35 pesos, from airport 48 pesos in sharerd van. To airport: Taxi 80 to 100 pesos.
