Comfortable self catering apartments with balcony in a quiet, sunny location in the historic spa town of Bad Ischl set in the heart of the beautiful lakes and mountains of Upper Austria. Magnificent mountain views and a friendly atmosphere are what we offer our guests and with activities like walking, cycling, golf, fishing, water-sports and skiing (to name but a few) available there is something for everyone to enjoy - all year round!

The apartments are on the first floor of the house, sleep up to 4 people and are very well appointed with satellite TV, WLAN internet, DVD, radio, hair-dryer and much more. There is a double bedroom, a modern shower room and WC. The kitchen is fully fitted and has everything you will need. There is a lovely dining area and a living area with a large sofa bed that comfortably sleeps 2 adults. A south west facing balcony with stunning views offers a great place to relax and unwind, or you are welcome to make use of the garden and BBQ.

The house is set in a quiet, residential area of Bad Ischl, but the centre of town is only 15 minutes walk away, so you get the best of both worlds. There are several well marked walks and places of local interest accessible on foot from the house. We live on site and will help and assist you as much (or as little) as you want!

We have been awarded 3 Edelweiss by the ÖPV (Austrian Private Landlords Association). This is a mark of quality, style and comfort and gives you peace of mind when booking holiday accommodation.

There is free on-site parking and prices include end of stay cleaning, electricity, towels and bed linen, but not resort tax. Short breaks welcome. We can offer continental breakfast served in the comfort of your apartment (booked in advance). Complimentary pick-up from Bad Ischl bus or train station (subject to availability). Airport transfers can be arranged.

Nearest airport is Salzburg
By public transport:
The bus leaves from right outside the airport for the train and bus station Salzburg. There is a regular bus service to Bad Ischl (route 150). Trains also run regularly (change at Attnang-Puchheim) for Bad Ischl. Taxis are available from Bad Ischl bus/train station and will take only 5 mins to the house. We offer our guests a complementary pick-up service from the station (subject to availability).

By Car:
All the major hire companies are based at Salzburg airport and the approximate travel time to Bad Ischl is 55 minutes.
Depart airport following signs for Autobahn A1 Wien/Linz.
Continue on Autobahn to exit 274 Thalgau.
Follow signs Hof/St Gilgen/St Wolfgang/Bad Ischl.
After approx. 10 minutes you will reach the roundabout at Hof, turn left.
Continue on route 158 to Bad Ischl.
Do not exit B158 at the first Bad Ischl exit, carry on until you reach the tunnel.
After driving through the tunnel take the 'BAD ISCHL ZENTRUM' exit.
You are now on the Bad Ischl road, carry on for about 150 meters, over the bridge until you reach a small roundabout (Eurospar is directly in front of you).
Take left hand lane and turn left at roundabout over Zebra crossing, past 'Tourist Information' on the right, keeping in left hand lane to next junction.
Turn left over bridge (be aware that the road narrows after bridge).
Continue up the hill and over railway bridge.
Under road bridge take right hand fork up the hill. There is a sharp bend to the right at the top of the hill.
Just after the bend turn left (signposted Rettenbach NOT Rettenbachalm!).
Carry on past play park on left to T junction, turn right.
Carry on down the hill, past fire station and kindergarten.
Over the bridge take 2nd turn on right up the hill (steep and narrow). This is Traxlecker Weg.
After about 250 meters there is a left bend, then flats on the left. Carry on past flats and take the road up the hill (narrow and steep again).
Continue up the hill to the bend, Haus Anastasia is on your right with parking directly outside the house.
