Directions

From the Terminal Norte bus station

The fastest way to get to the hostel is by taxi. A taxi will cost you about $10.000 pesos (about $5.00 USD). Tell the driver to go to the Parque Lleras. The entrance to the Lleras will be through the carrera 40, make a left where the street ends and then a quick right. The Lleras Park Hostal will be on your left about half a block down. Please keep in mind that all taxi drivers in Medellin are required to always use the taxi meter.

A little bit less expensive but longer, taking the metro and then grabbing a bus is a great way to travel as well. In the Metro Station by the Terminal Norte, buy a 'Poblado Integrado' ticket: they will give you one ticket for the Metro and another for a Metro bus. Take the Metro south to the 'El Poblado' Metro Station. Once there, catch a bus that says 'Metro' - using your other ticket - to take you up the hill. Get off at Carrera 40. The enterance to the Lleras will be through the Carrera 40, make a a left where the street ends and then quick right. The Lleras Park Hostal will be on your left about a half a block down.

From the Terminal Sur bus station AND the Olaya Herrera local airport:
Again, a taxi is the fastest and easiest way to get to the hostel. It will cost you about $6.000 pesos (about $3.00 USD). Tell the driver to take you to the Lleras Parque. The entrance to the Lleras will be through the carrera 40, make a left where the street ends and then take your first right. The Lleras Park Hostal will be on your left.

From the Rionegro/Jose Maria Cordova international airport:
A taxi from the airport will cost you about $55.000 pesos (about $27.00 USD). This is one of the few instances where there is a set taxi price, and the driver will not use the Taxi meter. Ask the driver how much the fare will be before getting into the taxi to make sure he doesn´t overcharge you. Tell the driver to go to Parque Lleras in El Poblado. Its about a 45 minute ride to the Hostel. Once near the park, enter from Carrera 40, go the end of the street and turn left, take your first right. The Hostel will be about half a block down on your left.

From the airport you can also take a 'collectivo' bus to downtown Medellin for about $10.000 pesos (about $5.00 USD), and then a taxi from downtown to the hostel that should cost about $7.000 (about $3.50 USD). Tell the driver to go to Parque Lleras. The entrance to the Lleras will be through the Carrera 40, make a left where the street ends and then take your first right. The Lleras Park Hostal will be on your left.
