Hostal Techos Azules is arguably the hostel with the best views in town. From a cliff, the hostel overlooks the Taganga bay providing gorgeous panoramic backdrops, where guests can watch the sunset enjoying a cold beer in their hammock while their clothes are being washed downstairs.
The stairways between the different white painted elevated sections give the hostel the laid back atmosphere of a tranquil sociable colonial village.
The hostel has a great variety in rooms and provides a wide range of services. As such, like most tourists you just might stay here longer than you expect
Techos Azules have a 24 hour reception.
They offer a fully equipped self catering kitchen and laundry service is available.
There are some great social areas including TV/DVD room, a BBQ area and hammocks from which guests can look out over the bay.

From Terminal Transportation:
The cab through the passenger charges between 8000 and 10 thousand dollars depending on daytime or nighttime. Or if you prefer, you can either take the bus from the terminal for transport to the beach of Santa Marta, and then take another bus from the beach to Taganga, the cost will be $ 1,000 pesos for each journey.
From the center of the city
Taxi value $ 6,000. In the Simon Bolivar park is opposite the beach you can take a bus to Taganga value $ 1,000, Hay bus every 10 minutes from 6.00am until 9:30 pm.
