This is simply a great place to stay! very nice comfortables and clean, the rooms are equipped whit orthopedic mattresses, reading lights, closets and ceiling fans, the dorms have no key, but security boxes for each bed, the double rooms have the key as it is normal( precisation in reply at a stupid review). There is a huge and beautiful green garden, whit flowers and big mango s trees that surround and keep very fresh all the rooms. The kitchen is clean, big, well furnished. Laundry service, free internet, free kitchen use, wifi connection, free coffee and towels and a friendly atmosphere,make of this hostel a very good option for travellers in cahuita.
P.S. This hostel is run by Italian people, we recommend to every racist from central europe against Italians or against greek or spanish people, do not reserve in this hostel. We ask to all customers to behave fairly and honestly respecting the reservations the place where you are, and the payment of the rooms.

Directions

The Shangri la Hostel, is very centrally situated in Cahuita. To arrive there coming from San Jose is very simple, the hostel is just beside the bus station in down town, you have to take the bus at the Terminal Caribeno in San jose, the bus arrive direct to Cahuita, and the Hostel is situated at 10 metres beside the bus stop, it is impossible don' t find it. The Hostel is close everything, bank, atm machine, post office, clinic, super market, night life, beachs and national park, the location is great.
