The Negev Camel Ranch was established in the Eastern-Negev in 1986, along the northern Incense Route, near the ancient Nabataean city of Kurnub-Mamshit.

The ranch raises and cares for riding camels and it offers camel tours, desert hospitality and lodging. We aim to provide a unique desert experience,along with the chance enjoy the calm and serenity of the biblical landscapes surrounding our home - the Negev.

We make sure to protect the environment and natural sites and monuments in all our activities,and to care for the wellbeing of our precious camels. Come and meet the camel world - an amazing desert story.

The camels are friendly and the ranch staff will gladly welcome you as our guests.

Negev Camel ranch offers accommodation at a million star hotel: lodging in desert huts which include up to 4 single beds. We provide as well towels and linen,There are shared clean showers (hot water) and lavatory structure available for guests.
You can also enjoy our meals - breakfast and dinner (vegetarian only).
Our ranch provides various camel safaries - from short one hour rides (leaving every hour) to a full day tour.
General information:

The payment in cash only,credit cards no accepted.
Each hut has up to 5 beds.
Check in between 15:00 until 21:00
Check out until 11:00
Smoking is forbidden inside the huts.
No television, radio or air conditioning in the huts

Directions

Driving Directions :
The Negev Camel Ranch is located in the Eastern-Negev near the ruins of ancient Mamshit ,a two-hours drive from Tel Aviv, 40 minutes from the Dead Sea and 25 minutes from Be'er Sheva.
For those driving from the North:
Drive south on Road 40 until the Goral Junction, turn left and continue on Road 40 to Sara Junction-and turn left to Road 25, driving past Moshav Nevatim, the Aruar Junction and Dimona. At the first junction, 7 km after Dimona, turn right to Mamshit and after 100 meters turn left to the camel .
For those driving from the Dead Sea:
Drive south on Road 90 to the HaArava Junction and then drive along Road 25 towards Dimona. Turn left to Mamshit 2 km after Rotem Junction and after 100 meters later turn left again to the camel ranch.
For those use public transportation:
Bus from Tel -Aviv to Eilat via Beer - Sheva (394), stop near the ranch at Mamshit cross road ( one station after Dimona).
Bus from Beer - Sheva to Eilat (397) stop near the ranch at Mamshit cross road ( one station after Dimona).
Bus from beer sheva to Dimona (048) every 30 minutes.
There is also a train from Tel - Aviv to Dimona you have to change trains at Beer Sheva North/University.
