Basketball Fans Camp Klaipeda has been specifically built to provide accommodation needs of basketball fans coming to 'Eurobasket 2011' tournament. Fans Camp offers budget lodging in canvas tents, campsite is divided into an entertainment and an accommodation area. The entertainment area is completely separate from the tent area and includes pubs, bars, lunch rooms, a festival stage, and sports grounds. Parking is available onsite for a charge and free wireless Internet access is provided in public areas. Furthermore, valuables can be kept in a safety deposit box at reception.

*Two sleeping bags and mat is included in the twin tent rate, cloths and towels can be rented for the extra charge.

*24-hour security is provided, guests can use safety boxes at the 24-hour reception area for extra charge. Payment methods on spot: cash, mastercard and visa credit cards. Visa Electron and Maestro can be accepted provisory (depending on the country of card issue, and bank security attitude). Car parking available near the camp for the extra charge. Breakfast not included in the rate and costs 5 EUR p.p./ day No arm, weapon or ammunition in the camp area allowed, nor liquids in glass package are allowed (exept medicine, perfumes and items of personal hygiene).

Basketball fans camp place is archery club, located on the Curonian Spit, perfect place for chilling, relaxing and having fun. 850 meters from Baltic sea and only 50 meters from the Curonian Bay, place is reached by ferry, from Klaipeda port. 4 km from Svyturys Arena. Kaipeda is located in the west of Lithuania,on the shore of the Baltic sea. Klaipeda is most important harbour of Lithuania. The region is famous for its seaside resorts. There is plenty of touristic trips by bus, by boat or yacht.Both the centre of Klaipeda and the Klaipeda (Svyturys) Arena can be easily reached by public transport. It takes only 8 minutes to get to Svyturys Arena by car, 20 minutes by public transport ( ferry and bus ) or 40 minutes by foot. There will be special night transport (buses), which will run from Camp to Svyturys Arena and city center. Also there will be special night ferrys conecting Neringa neck and city port. Camp can be reached by public transport, either special shuttle service arranged by the property (extra charge applies).

All camp guests will recieve individual full-scale email notification with GPS coordinates of the camp if they are travelling by car, as well as detailed directions to the camp by the public trasport from/to city bus/railway station. Location of the special camp shuttle service bus stops also will be reported. To avoid overvalue of the travel cost between camp and the city center or the camp and arena - fixed value taxi vouchers will be offered to the guests.
