Nida is a small town (only 1500 people), originally it has grown out of the fishermen village and now hosts the headquarters of the National Park of the Curonian Spit (which is protected by UNESCO as the heritage of nature). Thomas Mann chose for his summer house to be built in Nida in 1929.
We also offer a wide range of activities;
- hiking to the wandering sand dunes
- ice fishing in winter
-Cycling-around peninsula all neighbouring villages are connected by ecological bike trails.
There is a place for bicycles near the house and a spacious summerhouse-common area - courtyard, where we can spend evenings with a glass of wine or coffee or make a small barbecue with the fish we caught.
- traditional evening meals.
- Bike rent from 7eur.
Please call us if you get lost and we will help you find out hostel.
