Dating back to the 18th century, Casa de Sestelo is set in a quiet green valley in Cabeceiras de Basto, at the heart of Minho.

Surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, the old stables were carefully converted into charming stone cottages, each equipped with a double/twin bedroom, 2 bathrooms, a kitchenette and a living room. Facilities include air conditioning, TV and a double sofa bed, meaning each cottage sleeps up to 4 guests.

Outside, you find a lovely swimming pool and a terrace with panoramic views of the beautiful surroundings. On the grounds of Casa de Sestelo are a watermill, a chapel, fountains and a stream which runs to the mountains.

Cottages are self-catering. A complimentary basket of regional produce is provided on arrival. Linen and towels are provided.

Cancellations must be received at least 72 hours in advance.

Directions

Take the A3 motorway from Porto towards Braga Take exit 6 to merge onto A7 toward Guimarães Take exit 8 towards Fafe / Felgueiras / Chaves Take exit 12 towards Mondim / Celorico / Headboards / Arco Baúlhe. Go straight until you reach the roundabout and turn left heading to Cabeceiras and Santa Senhorinha.
