Bilbao Airport:
Bilbao is one of the nearest airports where cheap flights arrive. It is 100km south of San Sebastian.
To get to San Sebastian from Bilbao:
- By Bus: Upon arrival at the airport of Bilbao, you have to get to the Interbus bus station. There is a coach service from Bilbao to San Sebastián every hour (Coach companies: Alsa and Pesa).
- By train: Euskotren has trains to San Sebastian. The ride takes about three hours. Tickets can be bought on the spot.
Biarritz Airport:
Take the Biarritz airport bus into the Biarritz 'office du tourisme'.
buses depart frequently.
Buses depart Biarritz tourist office at 12:15 and 18:45 daily and arrive in San Sebastian.
Alternatively, you can also catch a train from Biarritz to Hendaye. Then change train at Hendaye for the ‘EuskoTren' network.
Trains run frequently until 20:30 and go directly to Zarautz.
Total cost is approx 6.5 euros.
By Car
Follow th A8 south of san sebastian for 10 minutes. Turn off at first sign for 'Zarautz'. Go through the first round about and turn right at the second roundabout following signs to 'campsite'. Free parking available.
By Taxi
Give the driver directions to 'Gran Camping Zarautz' from anywhere in San Sebastian the total cost is approximately 30 euros.
