Join the monks of the famous temple Wat Pho in their morning chanting ritual and visit Wat Phra Kaew, home to the venerated Emerald Buddha. Take a tour of Jim Thompson’s house, the American silk-millionaire who mysteriously disappeared in 1967. Try an unusual local specialty at the former capital, Ayutthaya. Hop on your own private rice barge for a cruise along the River of Kings, the Chao Phraya. Samut Songkhram is where you’ll visit a floating market and journey by paddleboat through a maze of canals before visiting a local family.
Explore the markets and temples of Chiang Rai and go to a local hill tribe project to learn more about these fascinating people. An elephant ride through bamboo forest and woodland will reveal abundant wildlife with help from our expert guides.
