Listing Details
The apartment has a kitchen, a living room, bedroom, shower and toilet. Although there are only 45 sqm, but these have been used very efficiently. Since we also use this flat and often self-love, she has a generous feature set, as one would otherwise expect from apartments. Anything you find there may not be used by you also the books on the shelf, games, CDs, and of course the stocks in the kitchen (tea, coffee, spices, oil, vinegar, and some basic food, so you're not starved). If you consume something, please leave a message so that we can refill without first having to check everything.
The living room has TV / stereo system and a seating area where you can transform into a bed (140x200 cm) for two persons. A VCR is available, but only for playing video cassettes. Recordings are not possible.
A small secretary desk invites you to send your loved ones a few lines. If bring your laptop, you can access the wireless access available there. Thanks to DSL it's fast too. The access code will be communicated in due time, of course, on request.
The shower was equipped for the disabled with appropriate handrails and wheelchair (floor level) accessible. It has its own window that can be opened with a crank.
Right and left of the toilet are handles that can be folded down when required. The sink has a single lever faucet with swivel spout, so you can use it optimally. The lever is very long and ends with a rubber ball, so you can easily handle it. The mirror has a tilting device (side and top) so that shorter guests can see in it. The sink is very small.
The additional and easy-care floor covering can be completely rolled up and stowed if it gets in the way. The floor tiles are naturally nonslip.
Each guest will receive upon arrival a towel and a shower fanfare. Additionally there is a towel in the bath for the hands. A hand washing soap is also available. Again, you can expect a longer stay with a change of towels after a week.
A parking space (25/week) and covered bicycle parking is available.
From there you can reach the pedestrian zone of the city center on foot or by wheelchair in less than 10 minutes. The apartment itself is located at ground level with access to a patio where you can sit out in nice weather without being harassed by cars.
The bus stop in the Brückenstraße is just 55m away. From there, you can take the bus 12 and tram lines 3 and 5. The next public disabled parking space is located 50m away, and additional parking spaces are located in close proximity. Wednesdays and Saturdays on Luther Street (about 300m away) there is a farmer's market (until 1pm), on which you find everything you expect from a well-stocked market.

Location:
Our house is located in the suburb of Neuenheim, with its old villa development and the many town houses from the Art Nouveau period that make it one of the most sought after residential areas of Heidelberg. To the Neckar is just about 200 meters, and then when you go on the Theodor-Heuss-Bridge, you are already at the Bismarckplatz. The city center is 10 minutes away.
From Bismarckplatz you're already on the main street into the pedestrian zone. Neuenheim itself is an independently grown district with many shops and restaurants, where you can sit outside in summer and can enjoy the specialties of the region. This district is known as the "French Quarter", which says a lot about the lifestyle and the types of activities.
In the immediate area of the market you will also find a whole grain bakery and confectionery, various specialty stores (Italian, French, Convent products) and several good restaurants. The property, located in the apartment houses, more apartments or rooms and it is inhabited by both a student apartment, families and singles. When the weather is so full of life in the courtyard, particularly for children (and parents) is very attractive.
Arrival:
From the apartment to the bus stop at the Brückenstrasse it is just 55m. From there take the bus 12 and tram lines 3 and 5. The next public disabled parking space is located at 50m distance, additional parking spaces are located in close proximity.
By car you reach the apartment like this:
From the north on the A5, exit Dossenheim. From there it's just 10 minutes to the apartment. Follow the signs to Heidelberg, then to Neuenheim. When booking you will automatically receive directions.
Coming from the south via the A5, exit Dossenheim. This way you don't drive through the city. Continue as above.
Driving Directions Frankfurt Airport:
This unit is located conveniently near Frankfurt Airport. From Frankfurt Airport the distance to the unit at Schröderstraße, 69120 Heidelberg is about 80 km (50.0 miles), approximately a 50 minutes drive by car. In addition, there are good public transportation options available for Heidelberg, in case you don't want to rent a car. At the top of this page is also a map with the exact location of the object.
