Located in Michigan’s Eastern Upper Peninsula, ninety minutes northwest of the Mackinac Bridge, Nature’s Kennel is home to over 150 Alaskan Huskies. Owners Ed and Tasha Stielstra operate Michigan’s premier sled dog touring kennel and competitively race in distance races throughout the world. Ed is a seven time Iditarod finisher, and both Ed and Tasha have won the Midwest’s prestigious UP 200 Race. In addition to outstanding race finishes, Nature’s Kennel has won many notable awards for exceptional dog care. Nature’s Kennel sled dogs are well known not only for their outstanding athletic achievements but also for their wonderful personalities.
