Hassan Bouaouina

Hassan Bouaouina is the founder of Bouaouina Tours, working
in Morocco since he graduated from the High Institute of Tourism
in Tangier. He completed a Masters in Cross-cultural and English
studies at the university of Fez-Sais and he also has an international
certificate in foreign languages (mainly French,English,German and
Spanish).
What does he enjoy about being a tour guide for Morocco? Well, his
job consists of many different aspects from showing visitors around
Moroccan sights, giving them the best and most fascinating bits of
information about Moroccan culture and Berber culture, its language,
people and history. Hassan enjoys explaining and teaching people
about what Morocco has to offer from its high mountains down to
the magnificent sand dunes in the desert of both Erg Chebbi and Erg
Chegaga to its huge and clean oceans. He likes being in the heart of the
old civilization made by the Berbers, Phoenicians, Romans, at the midage
era by the leaders of different tribes who made Morocco such a
tolerant and welcome place for all races and religions. The history of the
great Moroccan dynasties who ruled and lived in the imperial capitals of
the Kingdom of Morocco is a strong passion of Hassan’s and this comes
across on any tour he gives.
