Hostel Meeting Point (Amsterdam)

A friend and I stayed at this hostel recently and we really enjoyed our stay there. Beforehand I was concerned about staying in dorms (ie. not being able to sleep etc!) but after the first night in Dam, I really didn't care much about sleep anyway! The hostel offers excellent value for money and is in an excellent location right in the centre (Warmoesstraat), close to the central station and close to the main attractions of Amsterdam (which I'm sure I don't need to mention). The breakfast is ropey however - we got a slice of cheese, toast and a boiled egg. If you're on a budget exploring Dam, then book yourself into this place. Book in advance as it does get full often. For socialising, the hostel is very friendly and you will meet many like-minded travellers during your stay in the hostel's lively bar.
