Like others have said this is definitely an average hotel. The room itself isn't anything special. The standing shower doesn't have a sliding door just a loose curtain so water will spill into the main bathroom area. There is a mini-fridge and microwave with utensils/plateware which was helpful. The A/C didn't work that great. I couldn't get it lower than 17 Celsius. All that being said the main reason for booking here is affordability and great location. It's a 5 min walk from one of the main train stations, Museum, so that makes it really conveninent when coming from the airport. Also, convenience stores are nearby to buy bus passes or any other small items you might need. The free bus route, 555, is close by as well. This will take you straight to Circular Quay. Overall, average room in a good location.

If you are lookin for an average hotel near CBS, this would work. I was left with this choice due to "Schoolies" week. It's not a bad Hotel, Just not a Great one. There are much better in Sydney.

The room is small but clean. The hotel is close to the free bus route that can take you to different attractions. The drawback was the lack of WiFi. Internet connection only available at the lobby for a fee.

If you don't need internet/VPN access, this is a great bargain. Pro: clean lobby friendly staff, mostly responsive great location (to public transportation) printer access in lobby for a fee Con: 1. no VPN access (this is the only time I've had problems using VPN) 2. need to "upgrade" to executive floor (extra $30/d) to get internet ($20/day) 3. slow internet and scattered signal (had to move room to get better signal) 4. internet charge ($20) is PER computer (not room like most hotels) 5. we think our green fleece sheets had bugs b/c my roommate and I wok up with bug bites when we forgot to use the white undersheets
