The Banff Aspen Lodge is a nice hotel in a great location in the center of Banff. It has great service and location, excellent continental breakfast with homemade granola, and clean rooms. Be sure to specify what type of beds you want before your stay, because when we arrived we were told our room had a queen size bed, but only had 2 twins. Thankfully, there was a room with 2 queens available and the staff was happy to change our room. There is free internet, but it is extremely slow. We did not visit the hot tubs, but they looked very nice. Overall it was a great place to stay, and I would stay there again

From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. The staff was great and location was within walking distant of all the shops, restaurants, ski bus, and great hiking trails. Rooms were clean and the hot tub was wonderful especially after a long day of skiing. If I had to say anything negative it would be about the internet connection. It was very slow. Other than that our stay was wonderful.
The lodge is centrally located, close to restaurants, and local sites. garage parking was tight, but ok. staff was friendly, and responsive. we were put in a noisey,first floor ...
THE LODGE IS CENTRALLY LOCATED, CLOSE TO RESTAURANTS, AND LOCAL SITES. GARAGE PARKING WAS TIGHT, BUT OK. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY, AND RESPONSIVE. WE WERE PUT IN A NOISEY,FIRST FLOOR ROOM AT FIRST, BUT WHEN WE ASKED TO BE CHANGE, THEY WERE VERY QUICK TO DO SO. FREE BREAKFAST WAS OK AND QUICK. OUR SECOND ROOM WAS ON THE BACK OF THE LODGE, AND A BIT NOISY.
The hotel is very simple, but the rooms are very comfortable... the staff was very friendly and helpful... definitely a value for the price.... would stay there again.....
