There are several hotels to choose from in Denarau, and although I haven't stayed at all of them, I've had a chance to tour, stay at or eat at a few, and from that I can say the Sheraton is one of the best.
The atrium and entrance are lovely and well lit, the staff helpful, and the restaurants are fabulous. Our room was lovely and opened straight to the beach. I would definitely come back.
Also, the adults only pool and quiet area are divine for a break from the kiddies!

The resort was glorious -- beautiful well-maintained grounds, gorgeous newly remodeled room, lovely pools and beach, good food, and the most friendly, helpful staff you can imagine. Be prepared for lots of families, mainly from Australia and New Zealand, but I found no intrusion since their kids are generally well behaved! Use of the adjoining Weston resort is a plus. A really nice two day interlude for me after a long diving trip.
