We upgraded our room to a luxury suite with ocean view. They tried to put us up on the Ridge and this year Irefused the room because last year they put us up there and the view was a roof top,parking lot and the marina. They put us in one room for four nites and then we moved to another for three nites

The hotel was exceptionally clean, great location and the room was serviced by talented house keepers. The only thing that we were not happy about was about this "Time share offer" . We were asked if it was our first time in Cabo, then if you say "yes" they pushed you to attend the timeshare presentation with free breakfast. The rep said it was just 90 minutes and offered some incentives and that we don't have to buy if we didn't want to. Cira was very nice and we decided to go. 90 min of our time was spent with this gentleman Carlos first then Thomas or Tom when we told Carlos we are not interested to buy at that time because of too much expense and monthly payment and upfront we have to pay 1700 plus. When he can't convinced us he said he'll have someone show us how to get out of there. Instead this Thomas came and was starting to present us the same thing and trying to persuade us to buy one. Finally, he said" you came her for your free gift , camel ride" By this time we were ready to get out of there but hearing that from him I said "don't you ever say that to me. You guys are offering that to entice people which was just right, but for home to say what he said and the way he said it was not very right for me and so I responded to him that he was very rude and he can just keep those free gifts or whatsoever and we can afford those incentives on our own" . We were very irate, I asked for his supervisor but also just wanted to get out of there immediately cause I can sense my BP was up and I had a severe headache from the mere fact that they will not let us go, they have tried and tried to convince us eventhough we have said NO. That day was the worst part of our vacation. No one showed us the way out, this was at a solmar hotel that construction is happening. I guess, they were polite when they were wanting to get you in but when you don't want to buy their Timeshare, you are on your own heading out. And when we did get down, another person met us and would start doing the presentation . We felt violated, we felt trapped and so if you are planning a vacation just watch for "Timeshare offers" and truly NO should be NO.overall, playa grande is known for its beauty, cleanliness accessibility except they need to fix their bed in room 2001, It squeaks every move you make.

Great access to the marina and downtown area. The property was attractive and very clean. Hotel staff was friendly and always willing to help. We might have dined at the property three or four times during our stay and the food was good, although I felt it might be a little pricy. The only real negative is most of the hotels here are owned by timeshare companies and your always being hassled by people trying to show you some other property.

We had a lovely time spending our 6th wedding aniversary at the Playa Granda Resort and Grand Spa.
