I stayed at this hotel for only 4 days, but I couldn't have asked for better service! The staff is great and extremely friendly ... always willing to go the extra mile as long as you feel comfortable. The restaurants within the hotel are superb. I enjoyed the live music at Tequila's Bar, and the delicious breakfast buffet at Faisca do Brasil (both located on the lobby floor). The rooms were spacious and clean ... and the beds were extremely comfortable!! I will definitely be staying here for my next visit! Absolutely amazed by their service! Loved it!

This hotel was fantastic! We were met with warm smiles at the check-in, in the restaurants...everywhere! The hotel has 3 fabulous restaurants and great rooms. The rooms where comfortable, clean and very modern. They also have soundproof windows so you dont hear a thing! Also, the hotel is right in front of a large shopping mall. We would definitely recomend this hotel to anyone who is going to El Salvador.
Stayed here in august 2011 and had been here years ago and yes, the hotel is better than before in looks but the staff and costs are a real joke.

I had been on a plane all day to get to El Sal and when I approached the front desk the check-in employee was on a personal phone call. After at least five minutes he looked at me and said "Yes, can I help you?". I gave him my Royal Ambassador Card with my identification and after he did a few things he said we have you in room ???. I asked if that was an upgrade which Royals get and he said "no, it's a regular room as you requested on the internet check in". I told him I was a Royal and wished an upgrade. To make a long story short it took 30 minutes at the front desk for me just to get to my room. I will never go back to this hotel----EVER----The room service is terrible, the beds are terrible, and employees don't care about you at all. That first guy at the front desk that night needs another line of work. The others there were better but I also never received my fruit platter or gift. Don't stay here. I was over charged also when I checked out. VERY UNEDUCATED EMPLOYEES..........!

We stayed 8 nights in Jan 2009. The towels in the room are stained and worn, so is the carpet in the room. There is nothing extra special about the hotel itself. The conciege is AWESOME, as is the room service, the transportation counter (for renting cars as well as having a driver take you around). The doormen are awesome as well.
The front desk leaves quite a bit to be desired. First of all, this hotel charges for EVERYTHING extra (except the complimentary shampoo). Local phone calls were $.90 a minute to cell phones, somewhere around $.45 a minute to land lines. Didn't even bother asking about international calls. They also told us that there was a breakfast/internet/local call package for $*. I asked if that was the total. They said yes. It's actually a daily charge (when you can eat in this city for under $3, I wanted clarification), and the total daily charge was $*. I was also told you could cancel this package anytime (we weren't going to be around a few mornings, and didn't want to pay for something we didn't use). That wasn't true. And local calls to cell phones weren't included either. Upon checkout, we found that we were billed incorrectly, and it took 2 front desk people, a manager, and 20 minutes to get it figured out.
The maid service was rather inconvenient as well. If you had the do not disturb sign up, they'd wait until noon or so, before they began calling your room to see when they could stop in. And they didn't speak much english (the maid service), so it was impossible to tell them ""not today"" or ""just towels please"".
I'd stay here again, but brace yourself for all the additionals they try to force on you.

I stayed for 4 nights with a group and it was an excellent location. Major problems when I checked in with the reservation desk, but once past that a great stay. Good meals, great bar and good facilities. Hot water was available all the time and I would recommend to anyone to stay there.
