I wanted a clean, comfortable, safe base to explore a city where I had never been. This hotel provided that beautifully. It was very well maintained, very clean, and the staff was friendly and courteous. I highly reccommend it for anyone wanting standard accommodation.

I got a good deal on the room. No luxeries here--one tiny bottle of shampoo and one bar of soap. The towels are small, threadbare and rough. The bed was comfy, sheets were clean and bug-free. The refrigerator and microwave were a welcomed addition. Free breakfast was fair at best. Old danish, mini-bagels, bananas, 2 kinds of juice, cereal, coffee. The internet access worked flawlessly although unsecured.
Now the problems. The windows on all first floor rooms are secured by brokem broom handles instead of proper security bars that fit in the tracks. The doors to the building at not locked--no key required to gain entrance. People off the street come in and access the ice machine--I did notify management about this. The toilet functioned poorly--I asked housekeeping for a plunger and the only English they appeared to speak was "front desk." I then went to the front desk and he told me to go to the laundry room for a plunger.
When leaving at 5AM, I tried to return my room keys to the front desk. The area is locked off at night for security. A sign was posted to ring the bell for service--only problem was that the bell ripped off the wall. No access by room key. I knocked on the window and got no response. I slipped my keys through the gap under the window that had been blocked by a towel after I removed the towel.
I didn't feel as secure as I would have liked but the extra locks on the individual room worked well enough. I got what I paid for--a place to sleep for a good price.

Hotel was your basic hotel with a small continental breakfast. It was clean and quiet and the staff was very helpful. It was an average hotel that came at a great price. There are all sorts of breakfast restaurants nearby - we took advantage of those.

Breakfast was weak beds were not very comfortable the hot tub was not heated ( so why would they call it a hot tub ) and the pool was cold to. That would be fine if it were june, july but in Feb. come on, and I was traveling with a 3 year old, way to cold for children ! Should have payed a little more and got a nicer place.
