This is by far, the nicest hotel I've stayed at! Â Not only are the grounds incredibly gorgeous (and look exactly as their website photos), but the rooms are just as nice and the service was outstanding! Â They have more than enough employees floating around to valet, deliver room service, and to meet any request. Â Same with the restaurant...plenty of servers and the every time I ate there, which was often, my food was out to me in less than 10-15 minutes of ordering it. Â They make it their priority to give great, fast service. Â Also, they have live music several nights a week! Â Make sure to check out Anthony Mazzella on Fridays and Saturdays...amazing!
I always am afraid that a hotel won't live up to the pictures online but this one does! Â I will be going to Sedona again soon and won't even consider another hotel!
Most of all, it's a gorgeous hotel!Â

we had to find another room after our flight back east was cancelled due to Sandy. We were greeted by John at the front desk who was helpful in several ways. He understood our situation and kept our reservation flexible, as we did not know how long we would need to be there. Also, my credit card was expiring at the end of october and we didnt know if we'd have to stay into november. He worked with us on that as well.
The rooms were 100% spotless, modern, and comfortable.
We were busy hiking and doing day trips but the resort is beautiful and if you like to unwind by the pool you'll love it.
If i ever go back to the area, I know where I'm staying.
Thanks to all the staff for being welcoming and accommodating.

You can't always tell from the pictures or star rating of a hotel if its going to be up to your expections, but this hotel was a great surprise. It seems as if lots of improvements had been made in the courtyard/pool area to provide a wonderful atmosphere for the backdrop of the red rocks. Other renovations are in the works in the lobby and restaurant, so we only wish we had scheduled our vacation a month later when those were complete. I would highly recommend the Amara as a place to rest your weary soul or to just make as a base camp to launch day trips from. Very convenient to the restaurants and other shopping.
