We arrived to find a nice room and a nice lobby. But we inspect our beds closely now that bedbugs have become an issue at hotels of all levels. When we raised the bed spread we found long hairs, curly hairs, hard pieces of dirt and suspicous rust marks (sometimes indicators of bed bugs)! We were given another room and complimentary buffet coupons, but no apology, just treated as sort of an occasional issue and that was how they dealt with it. The other room's bed was cleaner. I don't think it was a bed bug issue since we found no actual bugs and the other room had "rust marks" on other parts of bedding and the sheer drapes - maybe a laundry issue.

My husband and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza DIA on November 1st and paid extra to be able to leave our car in their lot while we flew to Florida and back a week later. They call this special offer âPark Stay and Goâ. We left all the appropriate information with the hotel. When we returned we were shocked to find all 4 wheels of our 2 month old Chevy Tahoe had been stolen and the car was left on blocks! Even though they had our contact information, no attempt was made to let us know that we would not have transportation when we returned. When we confronted the manager, he said he wasnât sure what to do as âthis had never happened beforeâ. Unfortunately for him, other employees at the hotel had already said it was NOT the first time. When we called his bluff, he said that they would file an insurance claim through the hotel. In the meantime, we had to file a police report, line up temporary transportation and new wheels and tires to the tune of 3200 dollars.
Crown Plazaâs insurance has now informed us that it is the responsibility of our insurance to pay for the damage incurred in their parking lot.
This hotel is obviously in a bad part of town and I would never recommend using their âPark Stay and Goâ service.

Exactly what one would expect from a mid-upscale airport hotel. The large atrium is appealing, but both the bar and the swimming pool were closed for my visit. The shuttle was prompt and courteous, but the hotel is much farther from the airport than the moniker "airport hotel" would suggest. Definitely recommended.
