Stayed twice - both times for 2 nights while travelling in and around Boulder in Sept 2010. Both times included friendly and responsive staff, great complimentary breakfasts (waffles w/ sausage & orange juice was my favorite) and clean rooms. Rooms had fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher and dishes. Also desk, free internet, TV (with HBO) and a comfortable bed. The bed and the hotel next door at Courtyard by Marriot was a little more comfortable but overall the Residence inn is a better deal even though it's $*/night more due to the free breakfast and kitchette facilities. During the 10 days we stayed in the area we stayed in 4 different three star hotels and this one was a clear favorite and the place we intend to stay next time we are in the area to visit family. There is a mini-tennis court out front (but just for kids to bounce a ball back and forth...not a "real" sized tennis court) and a small indoor pool which generally had several kids playing in it. Rather than swim, I instead did 3 jogs from this hotel since it backs up to Coal creek trail and enjoyed it. They have an "amenities" bar by the front counter with drinks, snacks, etc. that were reasonably priced (20 oz Soda (Pepsi, no Coca Cola) = $*, ice cream sandwiches = $*) and misc other sundy items. They do put a newspaper by your door in the morning with a note that says it costs $* ($* on sunday) but you can ask the front desk not to give you one - and therefore not charge you for it) but I forgot to check if they actually billed me the thirteen cents for it. There are also complementary newpaper (USA Today) in the lobby.
