Sailing on the Argia out of Mystic was awseome! The crew were polite, friendly, and knowledgable. We went out on the first morning sail, there were less people on board and it felt very private. Eat at the S & P Oyster House along the Mystic River, watching the drawbridge is very cool. The food and atmosphere are excellent. Our primary reason to visit was to tour the Coast Guard Academy, my son will be applying. We also toured Fort Trumball which has a great view. New London appears to be going through revitalization. The Red Roof Inn in New London was not as clean as I prefer, they did not vacuum the carpets, the sheets are worn, I asked for extra towels and did not receive any. I left tips for the maid but this did not improve the service.
