The hotel was in a very good area and we enjoyed everything about the hotel. The staff was terrific and the room was very clean and comfortable. The only negative thing I could say, is that the room itself was small.

This is my second visit and I enjoyed my stay very much.

The Hotel Lombardy is close to the White House and the National Mall, as well as within 2 - 3 blocks of three Metro subway stations. Good restaurants within 1 - 2 blocks walking distance. The neighborhood is clean and I felt very safe walking wherever I went. Spotlessly clean bathroom and room. In-room safes in the rooms. The food in the hotel cafe is excellent, as is the service. The only downside is that the internet is for wireless devices. The hotel does not have a computer desk with a printer for guests to use to do online airline flight check-in or to print out boarding passes. I would definitely recommend the Hotel Lombardy to anyone who wants a great hotel within easy walking distance of museums, shops, restaurants, the Metro subway and the National Mall with all of the memorials.

Had a wonderful two- night stay here. would definitely choose this hotel again and would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone visiting the Capitol city.
