We have stayed here annually for 5 years. Last year we decided to try a different hotel. We missed the Grand Hyatt the entire time so this year we came back home. We now have 1.5 year old so the front desk suggested we stay in the casitas. He said families tend to like staying there. He was correct. We loved the casita. They have a very distinct feeling of privacy. I will stay in the casitas every time now, with or without kids. We love the ease of arrival due proximity to the airport and we love the nature walk and the food at Oyster Catchers (don't miss the calamari fries). This year we tried out the saltwater pool near the casitas and found it to be delightful. The internet ought to be included. And we could do without the noise from the airport, but since the place is so beautiful it is easy to ignore the noise.

Pool was dirty, bar by the pool closed too early and did not feel that I was staying at a hotel at all, was expecting much more. Will not stay or recommend this hotel at all. Noise from construction, cars and air plains.

I called several times before my check in date and never was there any mention that the property was under renovation. There were several mis-communications among the hotel staff, resulting in annoyance and frustration for me and my party.

The overall hotel is nice and the staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are getting tired and need updating. The bedding is average with a duvet cover over a comforter. The duvet kept coming undone and the comforter inside would fall out and was in serious need of washing.
