We had a great weekend in Atlanta thanks to the great location of this hotel. It was an easy walk to several nice restaurants, the Woodruff and Alliance Theater. Clean and comfortable rooms with a nice mini kitchen and the biggest closet I have ever seen in a hotel. Perfect for a weekend get away for two or a week long stay for buisness or vacation. The only down side was that in the room we had the bed, though comfortable, seemed to sink a bit in the middle. There was also a nice breakfast bar included with the room. We will certainly plan to stay again.

Our family stayed here after a long day on the road. When we got to our room, we noticed the kitchen was dirty with rings of sticky stuff on counter and table. It also looked like the bedspreads were not clean. We would have asked for a different room, but we arrived very late and were quite tired. Also at breakfast which was complimentary, the only fruit that was served were bananas with lots of brown spots and greenish and bruised apples. Also, the parking was outrageous -$22/night and we would have had to search down the street for a self park location - not convenient. The staff was friendly, but this was not enough to convince us to stay here again.h

We really enjoyed this hotel -- the rooms were quite spacious and clean, the breakfast selections were good (including waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, four types of cereal, bagels, English muffins, fruit, juices, and coffee), and staff was friendly. The hotel is about a block from the High Museum, and also a half-block from the new Museum of Design Atlanta. We also really enjoyed the "Manager's Toast" -- three times a week, there is a selection of food that you could basically use as a dinner option, served from 6 to 8. When we were there, the options included nachos, chili, salad, popcorn, and few other small items. Parking is very expensive in the hotel, but if you're willing to go a block further away from downtown, you'll find less expensive options. Though runners and walkers seem to be attracted to the stop-and-go of Peachtree street, if you're interested in taking a nice walk/run, get off Peachtree to the residential streets near the hotel, where the houses are beautiful, there are fantastic small parks, and a 20-minute walk will take you to the amazing Botanical Garden.
