We stayed here only one night and then switched hotels. I have never written a bad review of a hotel before and never switched hotels, and I generally think people complain too much about little things, but after staying here, I feel compelled to write this review. Only one burner on the stove worked, the vents in the kitchen and bathroom were covered from the inside with cardboard and didn't work, the AC didn't work, you could open the window, but they didn't stay opened, the tv channel selection was terrible and the tv was very old, and you could hear the people walking on the floor above. The was a $5.00 fee for wi-fi. No ice machine. The bathroom was pretty dirty and hair in the toilet. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, there was a full fridge in the room, and the coffee wasn't too bad. I would NOT stay here again.

In spite of reviews, we stayed here. We had a very late checkin but the lady was more than helpful and willing to change our room if we were not satisfied. The room was very clean, the airconditioner unit looked older and the furniture older. We enjoy a very firm bed so we were very satisfied.
If you ususally stay at high end hotels, you may not be happy. But, if you stay at low to mid priced hotels, you will be very happy with the cost and condition. The hotel is in a very good location, as well.

The Extended Stay America in Boise, ID is fairly close to the airport, but doesn’t suffer from excessive traffic noise, nor the scream of incoming flights. It is an older two story structure, set back from the roadway. There is enough parking, but none of it is covered.
I rented the “Studio” room, with one king-sized bed and a small kitchen, just inside the doorway. It has enough plates, dishes and utensils for two people; two cups and a glass, so one needs to be wash dishes frequently (dish soap provided) or take turns drinking.
The room had musty, stale air which the small air conditioning unit pushed around adequately. The windows had to be propped open to catch any passing breeze. The bathroom is small, and without an exhaust fan, so one may consider bringing room freshener or a scented candle.
The bed was firm and linens were what you’d expect, not new but in good shape. There is no problem getting additional blankets or towels. I choose to skip the daily room change, which was an extra charge, but rather walk to the front desk and exchange linens, towels there.
There are several coin-operated washers and clothes dryers near the front desk, and as well as a vending machine. And that’s the extent of the amenities. The hotel description claimed “free internet” but it is a “fee internet.” The TV is old and has limited stations – basic cable.
The hotel is very quiet; the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. It’s pretty clean, but the garbage cans in the stairwell reek. The grounds are clean and well kept, but it’s no botanical garden.
I got a corporate rate on the four days I stayed there, and it was the best offer in the area. For a few dollars more, other hotels nearby offer new facilities, maybe a pool and spa, but slightly smaller rooms. I will try one of those – just for the sake of variety – next time around.
