The hotel has a sign posted "100% Smoke Free Hotel" right behind the desk. When we arrived to our room, we were surprised to see aluminum foil taped on the fire alarm. Around 10:30 p.m. we learned what the aluminum foil was all about. Someone was smoking in an area next to ours (smoking sets off the fire alarms). At first we thought it was someone smoking outside, but it continued all night long. We enhaled cigarette smoke all night long. We asked for a different room the next morning, and we were promptly given a cleaner room and the evening was smoke-free. We were greatly disappointed that we were not in a smoke-free environment. It wouldn't have bothered us so much if we had been informed in advance that the area was a designated smoking area; we would have just asked for a different room.

Very nice and polite front desk clerk gentleman. Room was clean and looked new. Refrigerator and microwave were clean. Nice lobby area, northwest feel, inviting. Breakfast was good and not just sugary stuff, hard boiled eggs and yogurt were included. Pool was a little on the cool side but hot tub was nice. Had a couple of issues: The smell from the room deodorizer was too strong for my liking, so I just opened the window and put on the air and it helped clear the smell out. The upstairs neighbors were very loud at 6 A.M., sounded like they were chopping wood for a half hour. Overall nice stay, would stay again.
