Expressed displeasure about noise to front desk but nothing was done.

We were OK with the accomodations. They are basic but we were paying a basic price. But when we arrived we were greeted with a sign that said that the desk attendant would be back in 15 minutes ... from when? We stood there late at night waiting for someone to show up. When someone appeared about 15 minutes later there was no recongition that we might have been waiting at all. We were really treated with disrespect. Then when I called the front desk 10 minutes later I was put into the automatic attendent. Very disappointing from a service stand point. Be aware that a lot of construction workers use this hotel. They were respectful ... but it is a little disconcerning.

I suspect the football crowd has taken a toll on this hotel. The easy chair in the room was so dirty we would not sit in it. The carpet had large stains. The countertop in the kitchen area had a large crack in it. And the coffee maker did not have a pot.

I had a LEGO Town & Train display at the Italian Fest in Granger, Indiana, with my LEGO(R) Train Club (Michiana-LTC) so I found this hotel since it was the best price for a multi-day stay, and I picked it. The nice thing for me was they had a recliner in the room, and since I sleep in a recliner at home, it was great to have that option here. They also have a little kitchenette with a stove and a microwave and a full size fridge so you can eat in if you desire, I could not since I was gone 8AM - 11PM the days I stayed. The only issues I had were minor ones: 1) I do not like disconnecting my trailer from my Suburban when I travel, I usually leave it connected. The parking lot does not have space to be able to park it like that, I had to use multi-spaces which I don't like doing. Very minor issue I feel. 2) There was no shampoo in the room, and when I asked for some at the front desk, they were out. It was after hours, and the lady that helped me even looked in their storage room, which was nice. So just bring some with you if you come here (I usually do not, but I will from now on just in case) 3) The hotel closes the lobby at 11:00PM which is understandable, but I did not get there until after 12:00AM the first night (Long setup - from 8:00AM - 11:30PM) so it was a little difficult but it is more just me than an actual issue I feel. Overall, good room at a decent price, if you just need a basic place to stay, this is a good value.
