My husband and I were coming to town for a Reds game and read a lot of hotel reviews before choosing this one. I know we made the right choice in this hotel! Easy to get on/off the interstate, easy walk to Cincinnati and the ballpark. We walked the bridge a total of 4 times that day! Free parking in a covered parking garage on the hotel property a huge plus. $1 shuttle outside of the hotel will take you to the ballpark if you prefer not to walk. Hotel served Starbucks coffee and their breakfast menu sounded appetizing. I don't care that there was no "free buffet", those buffets are never usually good, are they? I saw trains, never heard them in the room, which was close to the tracks. Bed and pillows were super comfy, blackout curtains kept the room extra dark, even when the sun was lighting up the sky. Staff wasn't overly friendly, but after check in, I don't need their assistance anyway. The other hotels guests made up for what the staff lacked with their Midwestern hospitality. Loved that the hotel was nicely appointed, but laid back enough that everyone walked around with their beers! That's my kinda place! for nice afternoons/evenings/nights, the hotel had a courtyard with nice outdoor furniture and an outdoor fireplace. Very nice touch! I did not use the pool or fitness areas. I'm sure they were up to par as well. Did have a little trouble connecting to wireless, but unless we are on business, we should all be able to live without for a night or two ;) Highly recommend, as we will be staying there again.... Maybe just for the heck of it!

This hotel was located close to University of Cincinnatti and the Covington Airport. There was a local family style festival downtown the night of our stay. We were the only ones not scrambling for parking. The hotel had an indoor pool. The room was kept cool before our arrival. The noise came from sirens and traffic on the street.

I really liked the hotel , the beds were quite comfortable and the little balcony was cute all the other reviews complain about the train tracks which I hardly heard... The carpet did smell a bit like smoke...which is od for a non smoking room.... something I only noticed when I sat down to put on tennis shoes. I would defiantly stay here again.

This hotel was close to downtown, reasonably priced, and within a block of a half dozen restaurants. The curtains were a surprising plus...my room was pitch black in the morning, despite an easterly exposure. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and intelligent. Parking was free, in a covered garage. I recommend this hotel heartily.
