Enjoyed out stay. Motel staff was very pleasant and friendly. Great location with lake right across the street with running trail. Would definately stay here agian

When we arrived in Lake Charles that Sun a.m. & went to the hotel, I was told there was a possibility we could checkin an hour before the listed 3 pm checkin time. When we returned to the hotel at 2 pm, I was told that we couldn't checkin till at the earliest 4pm & probably not until 6 pm! Of course we would have had to check-out at the usual 11 a.m the next a.m. so we would be paying for a 17 hr hotel visit. We just left & went to another local hotel for 1/2 the fee! I would definetly not recommend and would discourage other travelers from staying at this hotel! ccm

The room was nice with sofa and small kitchen area. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Hotel had a few deferred maintenance issues. Great location. Would stay again.

I spend 5-8 nights a month in Lake Charles with my job. I've stayed at several of the national chains, but find America's Best Suites to provide the best value. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Complementary cocktail hour, free breakfast, free internet. Every room I've stayed in has a coffee maker, mini-ref and microwave a sittting area in the room and a work desk. I plan to spend many more nights here.
